The co-creator of Call of Duty, renowned for co-creating the immensely successful franchise Call of Duty, has tragically died in a vehicle crash in the state of California aged 55.

The tragic news was announced by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, the development studio he co-founded.

The renowned video game developer passed away following his automobile collided and caught fire on a highway in Los Angeles on Sunday, as reported by.

"This represents a heartbreaking loss, and our deepest sympathies go to Vince's family, his loved ones, and the countless individuals inspired by his creative vision," a representative from Electronic Arts stated.
